After booking onto one of our Getting to Grips with Technology, Joan learned how to use emails to send a picture to her relatives in Canada, thanks to the help of Patrick and Mark.
At these sessions you can learn anything you'd like to know about technology, whether you'd like to set up your own email address, use Facebook to stay in touch with friends and family, or find out answers to any question using Google.
Of course, If you're reading this post then you're probably already fairly tech savvy, but if you feel there's more to learn, then book yourself onto a session! Or perhaps you have a friend or relative who would like a helping hand using their phone or computer; if so please show them this video.
Getting To Grips with Technology takes place weekly on Wednesday mornings from 10am to 12pm. Open to anybody in Sheffield affected by an illness with no cure, all you have to do is book your half-hour slot by visiting our booking site.
Alternatively you can call 0114 235 7650 (Tuesday to Thursday, 10am - 4pm) or email firstname.lastname@example.org
