Starting on Wednesday 1 August, we're pleased to introduce Morning Yoga to our schedule of activities.
Why try yoga?
This ancient artform originated in India, but because of the excellent mental, physical and spirital benefits it offers, yoga is now practised worldwide. It has been shown to have a positive impact on many areas of physical health - including flexibility, posture, breathing and blood pressure - as well as reducing stress and boosting mood.
Practised first thing in the morning, yoga is the perfect way to refresh and rejuvenate your mind and body for a positive day ahead!
And if you've seen yoga poses that have you thinking, "there's no way I could do that!" - don't worry! This class has been designed with all abilities in mind and will be based around gentle stretches, exercises to release tight or sore muscles and relaxation techniques. If there's anything you don't feel comfortable doing, we will guide you through a suitable alternative.
Morning Yoga will take place weekly on Wednesday mornings from 10am-12pm (lines open Tuesday-Thursday, 10am-12pm.)
